What this page is for

The entrance to the sandbox, in two steps: on this page you type your username and password; on the next page you type the 6-digit code from your authenticator app.

Why it exists

The sandbox can place real phone calls, play recordings and show call data. A password alone can be guessed or stolen; the 6-digit code from your phone makes a stolen password useless.

When to use it

Every time you start working in the sandbox.
After your session ended (30 minutes without activity, or 8 hours after sign-in).

Each part of the page

Username and password: Type the username and the password you set at your first sign-in and press Sign in. If they are right, the next page asks for the current 6-digit code from your authenticator app (Google or Microsoft Authenticator). At your very first sign-in there is no code yet: the next pages let you choose your own password and set up the app.
Language: Choose the language of the screens. Before sign-in your browser's language is used; after sign-in the language saved on your account wins.
Lockout and session limits: After 5 wrong attempts the account is locked and only the admin can unlock it. A session ends after 30 minutes without activity and 8 hours after sign-in at the latest.
Where you land: After sign-in each role opens its own home page: the admin the Status page, the owner the Owner home, a tester the Calls list, the panel developer the Developer Portal.
Sandbox address: The address under the name is the sandbox's own HTTPS address. Sign in only there; never enter your password on a page with another address.
The same page in Russian: Every element of this page is also available in Russian; pick "Русский" in the language switcher.

Rules behind it

This page never says whether a username exists: a wrong username and a wrong password get the same message.
5 wrong attempts lock the account. Wrong passwords and wrong 6-digit codes are counted together, so nobody can guess either one; the admin unlocks the account after checking that it was really you.
The page works only over HTTPS, so the password never travels unencrypted.

Common problems and what to do

"Wrong username or password". Check the keyboard language and Caps Lock and type again. Usernames are case-sensitive. After 5 wrong attempts the account is locked.
"Account locked". Ask the admin to unlock you on the Users page.
"The code step timed out". The code page stays open 5 minutes after the password. Sign in again and type the code a bit sooner.
Lost phone and no recovery codes. Ask the admin to reset your 6-digit code; you will set up the app again at your next sign-in.
